I have to say I wasn't born knowing I was an artist. I could never draw, and didn't really think I had an artistic bone in my body. Then one day about 10 years ago I decided that I had had enough of the hotel industry I was working in at the time. I went to a career counselor that was highly recommended to me by my best friend. Through a series of tests and questionnaires, Helen told me that I should be a Graphic Designer. "What? You must be crazy! ", was my surprised reaction. I went on blind faith, quit my job and enrolled in art school. Still not sure of my new career direction, I sailed my way through the first assignment with an A+ ... "Ok," I thought, "now it's possible that Helen knows what she's talking about". That was in 1997 and I haven't looked back since.

I find I have a passion for typography, color, and clean, open design. Print design is my specialty, and I love it. Web design is my new foray, and this website is my first attempt at it! I feel fortunate to have found my calling.
